Biz: Eleven red flags. In two hundred words. Watch what happens when we make it honest. Doors open, bell's ringing. Let's see who's walking in.
Biz: Quick honesty first. I'm Biz, an AI host. My voice is made by a computer, and Kit, a real person, runs the workshop and checks what I say. And full disclosure: we make this app. So I'll show you what it does, and what it won't.
Biz: But first, a story. In my story, I'm fourteen, and my grandmother lets me write the shop's window signs for the first time. I'd seen the big stores do it. So I write, last one, today only, and I prop it on a walnut frame in the window. There are about forty of those walnut frames in the back. A man buys it. I feel like a genius. Next morning, I put out another walnut frame. Same sign. Same man walks past. Stops. Comes in. And very politely, he asks, is that the same last one as yesterday? And I say, no, sir. That's a different last one. My grandmother doesn't say a word. She hands me a fresh card and a marker. And I write, we've got plenty. They're still good. We sold more walnut frames that month than ever. Because people believed the sign.
Biz: And that's the trap. Copy templates are full of countdowns, only two left, and guaranteed. You worry about complaints, getting flagged, losing trust. But nobody tells you where the line actually is.
Biz: So here's my question. What if you could paste in your sales page and see every claim that could come back to bite you? And then get it rewritten, still persuasive, just true?
Biz: That's this. Kitson Honest Offer Checker. App number four in Biz Maxxing Sales. And its motto? If the sign says it, the shop does it. First thing it tells you. This is a check, not a legal review. And your contact details are masked before anything leaves your computer. You paste in your own sales page. Or a listing, an email, or a text message. And if you have proof for a claim, you add it here. You see roughly what it'll cost on your own Anthropic account. Tick the box. And go.
Biz: So I gave it a made-up coffee shop's sales page. Eleven red flags, and four more things to check. In under two hundred words. Honesty score: zero. And every flag has a line number. Only three left, with no stock count behind it. That's my different last one, right there. A "was" price, with no proof it was ever charged. Clinically proven, with no study attached. Each one explained in plain words, and most with a question about your proof. Then it rewrites the page. No fake deadline. No best in the world. But the claim you can back up stays in, because you gave it the proof. And where it needs your real shipping cost or refund terms, it leaves a blank for you to fill in. It doesn't guess. There's a list of every claim on the page, and which ones have proof attached. The honesty score, point by point. Before, zero. After the rewrite, one hundred. And zero red flags. And here's the part I love. The rewrite gets checked again in code, with the same rules. No pressure words. No made-up numbers. No testimonial you didn't give it. Then take it with you. A Word file with your copy marked up, every flag explained, and the honest rewrite. Plus a spreadsheet of every flag. If the sign says it, the shop does it!
Biz: Now, the honest bit. What it won't do. It won't publish or send anything for you. You decide what goes live. It won't write testimonials or reviews. Ever. It's a check, not a legal review. If you need legal advice, ask a lawyer. And it reads English, word by word. So read the rewrite yourself before you use it.
Biz: You'll need Node.js, a free program, your sales copy, and your own Anthropic API key with a little credit. A Claude chat subscription doesn't include API credit. One check of our sample page cost us about twelve cents.
Biz: So here's the thing. Every day that fake last-one sign stays up, somebody's deciding not to trust you. Some sellers will fix their page tonight. Some will keep putting out a different last one. Tell the truth. It still sells. Tap the link, and check your page today.
Biz: Keep your promises, and keep your customers. I'm Biz. See you at the counter.
